“Overflow” Design Theme

The "Overflow" designs were named as such due to the use of the overflow function of CSS, which allows the automatic creation of scrollbars on a CSS block container. It provides some of the benefits of frames without any of the negative impact.
What follows are just a small sampling of design layouts that were created around the overall structure. Again, the entire look is controlled by the stylesheet as the designer has no control over the actual XHTML code of the individual pages.

Horizontal and vertical navigation layouts were created for each of the designs, as well as lefthand and righthand side placements.

The design was created so that the musicians could use a single photo througout the site, or use different photos on each section.

Along with different colors within the page, different surrounding colors were used as well. This one, which appears smaller than the others, is actually surrounded by a white background.

The layouts also allowed for shorter images to be used, or a maximum size that would extend from the top of the header down to the bottom of the "content" box.
