We are not a traditional graphic design, marketing, or advertising firm that “also offers web design” services. Whether you work with Identity Developments or someone else, we encourage you to work with a web presence provider, not an “also offers” provider. Don't think of your web presence as an add-on service… we don't.

Every client has their own unique challenges and has different needs and resources. There is no “one size fits all” on the web. We work with you to first identify your needs, determine your resources, and then develop a plan to deliver you the most value in meeting your needs, both present and future.

Just like every client is unique, every website is unique and different. Most of our services are custom by nature and we tailor fit the project to our clients, rather than the other way around. This is why you won't find any “X web pages = $X” packages at Identity Developments. These kinds of packages make it very easy for clients to understand and to equate cost with a deliverable, but the formula is completely flawed. The number of pages has nothing to do with the quality or value of your website. In fact, it's not about your website at all, it's about what your website does for you.

Domain Name

You may not have a domain name yet, and in fact we recommend holding off on this. Not only can we assist you in registering your name properly, we can assist you in identifying an appropriate domain name, which may not necessarily be your company name. Unfortunately, quality varies greatly from one registrar to another and there are horror stories of people who have lost their domains, or have been stuck in a near “hostage” situation.

Web Hosting

Good web hosting is a critical element of your web presence. Many of our clients choose us to also host their websites. Unlike traditional hosting, when you host with Identity Developments, we take care of everything for you. While our clients have access to their own control panel, most find it far easier to let us setup and manage everything for them.
